Who is Eligible....
A
Muslim woman student who is:
A Canadian citizen, a permanent resident of Canada, or a conventional refugee.
Enrolled in a full-time degree (graduate or
undergraduate), diploma or certificate program at a Canadian college or
university for the academic year commencing in the year in which the scholarship
is granted.
Commitment to complete the
year. Should the candidate not complete the year, they must
return the funds.
In financial need.
Who is NOT Eligible...
A
Muslim woman student who is:
Related to the members of the committee or board members or
employees of IEFM is not eligible to receive this scholarship:
Application Requirements:
The IEFM
scholarship application is a self-administered application. Gather all
relevant documentation and submit it together with completed application
form - all in hardcopy - to:

In addition to the
application form, candidates must submit the following...
-
Letter describing the reasons why you would be a worthy recipient
of this Scholarship.
Include your contribution to, volunteer
activities, your academic achievements, your most
important
accomplishments and your future goals;
Brief outline of your budget for the coming year including
information on your expected sources of funding (e.g. Student
Loan, parents, etc.);

Two
letters of reference from the two individuals named in your
application. One must be a teacher from your school, college or
university. The other must be from an individual, other than your
teacher, who is familiar with your community service;
An up
to date official transcript.
